Your initial consultation request should include as a minimum the following information:

• Name and address of your company.
• Name and address of the exporter/importer of record (as applicable).
• Name, title, telephone number, and role of the individual making the request.
• A brief synopsis of your situation and your specific request.
• High level description of the goods or technology being exported/imported (as applicable). Do not provide detailed product technical information such as engineering drawings or schematics with your initial request.
• Country to which the goods or technology are being exported and any intermediaries (as applicable).
• Whether the goods are currently under Customs detention (as applicable).
